The folks from QIRKZ have completely taken over the club on the corner of their street:
and CAMELOT - a more intimate and fully legal version of QIRKZ is up and running!!
And like QIRKZ, Camelot is a boutique venue that is a home in Sydney for home all manner of World, Jazz, Cabaret, singer/songwriters and other Acoustica.
Part of the radical facelift and reinvention of the space is presenting 2 stages: the music stage (with a beautiful 30's German Grand Piano) and the sideshow stage (for smaller musical acts, as well as burlesque, magicians, contortionists, hullahoopers and other carnivalesque offerings!), and the dance-floor will ensure many a fun foot-stomping night!
And...if you're looking for a party destination...yes!
Camelot Lounge does indeed book private functions (weddings, birthdays, barmitzvahs, book launches, ritual circumcisions etc)
